Story
On Saturday 11th February, I am doing a challenge which will take me out of my comfort zone. The Glasgow Hyrox! Something I have never done before.
So, why am I doing it? I want to do this for a very special little girl called Hallie.
Hallie was eight months old, when in July 2022 whilst in Spain on a family holiday, was taken ill and diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukaemia (JMML). A rare form of blood cancer ( leukaemia is very close to my heart )
Hallie needed a transplant. A donor was found and she is doing extremely well but has a long road ahead.
I would like to raise funds for the Hallie helping hands charity” to help other children in similar situations.
Please could I ask you to donate whatever you can spare to support this research charity that will help children just like Hallie.
100 % of funds raised will go into research for juvenile myelomonocytic leukaemia (JMML)
Thank you
