Story

So I got to my 50th marathon for my 50th in DisneyWorld.  Despite the  Corona virus I completed 50 marathons while I'm 50 and have just joined the 100 marathon club.  Challenges for 2021 - a 50 miler, a 100km, 12 marathons in 12 days, 10 marathons in 10 days (twice) and the big 100 miler !

Coming up for 2022

Reaching my 200th marathon a year after my 100th to complete 100 marathons in 52 weeks.

Here's my progress on challenges set in January 2020:

** 10 marathons in 10 days - postponed to 2021
** 7 marathons in 7 days √
** 50 km ultra
** 50 mile ultra

** Virtual Great British Challenge - marathon distance over 3 runs √

Although, up to now, my challenges have all been a personal journey, I thought I would re-open my fund raising and help raise a bit more money to support those affected by Brain Tumours.

If you are able, please consider donating to this cause.  Thank you. x

My stepfather Bob died of brain cancer in 2016,  3 months after his diagnosis was confirmed, so the Brain Tumour charity is close to my heart.

My school friend lost her 9 year old daughter to brain cancer in 2018 and she has set up the fund in her memory.  Lizzie died just a week before her 10th birthday and only 9 months after diagnosis.
