On Friday 12^th May I will take on the Lakes 3000 Challenge with some of my Barclays HG & E North colleagues. The challenge
consists of climbing 4 of England’s highest peaks in 12 hours !! Scafell Pike(3210ft), Scafell (3209ft), Helvellyn (3120ft) and Skiddaw (3050ft).

The challenge is to raise money for the Chronicle Sunshine Fund which is a  local northeast charity that provides specialist and adapted equipment to children aged 0-19 living with disabilities, additional needs, chronic and terminal illness. The types of equipment the charity can fund are not available through statutory services like the Local Authority or NHS; yet they are vital to the daily life of their Sunshine kids. These specific pieces of equipment enrich quality of life for not only the children, but their wider families and communities. 

Those who know me, know I love putting my walking boots on but it will be a tough challenge to conquer these 4 peaks in 12 hours!  Any support will be greatly appreciated.
