Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Coronavirus is impacting everyone’s lives as we need to Stay Home,  Stay safe, save lives and protect the NHS.

Our NHS  Critical Care units across the Country have been overwhelmed due to this virus. We want to raise money for Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary Critical Care Unit at Dumfries and Galloway Endowment Trust.

Myself and 6 other Mountain rescue colleagues (Ross, Philip, Pete, Martin, Matt and Laura - Magnificent 7) are stepping up to the challenge and climbing the height of Mountain Everest on Saturday 9 May carrying our full team kit.

Mount Everest is 8848 metres and therefore the seven of us are climbing our stairs/steps at home, 526 times.

Any donations would be gratefully appreciated. Let’s give Covid-19 the boot.

Thank you

Karen
