Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most of you know our story.

Steve has defied the odds and continues to thrive .

His brain tumour is currently dormant and has been since he finished treatment in 2010.

A grade 4 GBM is the most aggressive form of brain tumour there is with a survival rate of 17% after 3 years.Steve is in that 17% .

Cancer is a horrible  condition yet more and more people are fighting and winning against it. Brain tumour research receives less than 2% of the funding for cancer research but has one of the highest fatality rates in adults . Steve is living proof that the right treatment at the right time can make a huge difference.

Running 26 miles is easy, I just put one foot in front of the other, fighting cancer is a daily battle that Steve does with good humour, strength and humility xx
