Befriend a Child is a charity that supports children and young people growing up in difficult circumstances to help them achieve their full potential and develop into confident young adults. I have been volunteering as a befriender for almost a year and love and appreciate the work BaC does for young people in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. I see first the hand the good the charity does measurable in smiles and confidence in my young person, giving him opportunities and 1-to-1 attention he wouldn't get otherwise. Research shows just one trusting and dependable relationship can make a huge difference in later life to a young person experiencing trauma. All donations are very much appreciated x
