On July 2012 my little sister was diagnosed with Leukaemia which is a blood cancer and since has been under strong medication such as steroids. This november she will take her last dose of medication and if all goes to plan she will be in the clear. I have seen first hand the effects of what Leukaemia and the strong medication that comes with it can do. However, my strong little sister was able to fight through the hair loss and mood swings she got through the steroids and she is now happier than ever! Im running the Marathon for her and for all other children and families that have gone or are going through what we have as a family. My aim is to raise £2000 for Leukaemia Care an organisation that helps families effected by blood cancer receive the right information, advice and support.
