On November 2019 my beautiful niece Lily -Rose Bury was diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma aged just 20. She received all of her treatment at the Clatterbridge hospital under the Teenage & Young Adult Cancer unit. The treatment she received and the support given during these very difficult circumstances by the staff was invaluable. With the life extending treatment she received, she managed to get 2 more precious years with her family & loved ones and it gave her time to achieve some incredible life goals including marrying the love of her life Joe. Tragically Lily passed away in December 2021 aged just 22 but we will forever be grateful for all that the Clatterbride Cancer Hospital did for her.

On Friday 3rd February myself, my wonderful friend Mary, Sofia & William will be participating in the Glow Green night walk for the Clatterbridge Cancer charity in memory of Lily-Rose with the aim of raising funds for this charity to help them improve patient experience & fund vital research into the latest therapies and innovations in cancer treatment.
