Cambridge House is a social action centre tackling poverty and social injustice across London. We pursue a vision of a society without poverty where all people are valued, treated equally and lead fulfilling and productive lives.

Story

In celebration of the life of (The Honorable) Juliet Priscilla Mary Duncombe  - a creative, passionate, intelligent and very funny woman,  whose unrestrained, adventurous and idiosyncratic approach to life embraced many.

Donations in Juliet's memory are being collected to support the work of Cambridge House, the charity led by her daughter Karin Woodley.

Each year, Cambridge House works  with  45,000 people living in some of the UK’s poorest neighbourhoods.   The charity provides:

  • Free legal advice and advocacy services
  • Youth empowerment and successor generation projects
  • Sports and arts activities for children and adults with mental health problems  and  learning disabilities
  • Enterprise services to 15 resident local and national charities.

Donations will  contribute to activities that deliver positive impact for individuals, families and communities facing severe and multiple disadvantages.
