Hi beautiful people! I'm so excited to be working on a project in Tanzania for 10 weeks with a fantastic charity.
Raleigh International is a sustainable development charity. Our work focuses on three areas: providing access to safe water and sanitation (WASH) protecting vulnerable environments and building livelihoods.Thank you so much for your support. For more information about what we do visit www.raleighinternational.org.
We soulfully target ways to improve better healthcare and opportunities to give the Tanzanian community a chance to prevent and fight against serious illnesses and live healthier and fuller lives - something very close to my heart.
I'm so thankful of our circumstances in the UK where the NHS helps create miracles every day which I've witnessed with close friends & family recently. I would love to develop specialised skills in healthcare and learn from a diverse culture where others are less fortunate than we are in the UK to have the NHS in place, in times of need.
It would be amazing if you can support Raleigh International with future funding for communities and on-going research enabling more young people to develop skills with invaluable specialists to really make an impact. Any donations for Raleigh International would be really appreciated.
Just to clarify- my placement includes living with a local host family so I'm very grateful to embrace local culture and my flights are booked so any donations go directly to the charity Raleigh International.
Fundraising: I will be holding two (Easter and Wine) raffles and a fancy dress day at the nursery- this raised a fab sum of £248 thank you Little People and PB&T!!
Thank you so much again for your support and compassion.
Lots of love,
Karina xxx
