Karina had breast cancer in 2015 which returned in 2019 and she had to spend the last weeks of her life in North Devon Hospice. The care provided by the hospice was unbelievable, making her as comfortable as possible in the circumstances. Karina's family and friends were blown away by the lengths they went to help, they even organised an early Christmas day meal and celebration because Karina wasn't going to make it to December. They offered family group sessions after Karina passed away which have been really important for her two little boys, who are doing her proud! The hospice needs all the help it can get to keep these services and care going so please support us taking part in the three different North Devon Marathon runs at the end of June. There are loads of us taking part, lots from Karina’s old running club, the South Molton Strugglers, and some who never run at all!
