On the 4th of August I will be riding the Prudential Ride London (100 Miles) in aid of Meningitis Now, to raise awareness for Meningitis Now and Septicemia.

On 30th August 2018, Florence Olivia our precious Grand-Daughter was born, she was the most perfect gift.
We were the proudest grandparents alive and fell in love with her instantly.
Life couldn't get any better for us, a new chapter in our lives.
We couldn't get enough of Florence and would visit her whenever we could - Particularly every Saturday morning.
Saturday 20th October was no different, we called up as usual only to be told Florence had not woke yet so we told Abbigayle not to worry as babies sometimes sleep through.
Abbigayle brought Florence down in her Moses basket but she was very sleepy and wasn't interested in feeding so we suggested we take her to hospital to get her checked over.
We took Florence to the BRI who took one look and raced her away from us and at this point we had no clue what was wrong or how that day would end.
Staff in A&E later explained to us that Florence was very sick but at this point weren't sure what with; it soon became apparent Florence was fighting for her life - A short while later we were told Florence had Meningococcal Meningitis and Septicemia.
Abbigayle and Connor decided to have their daughter baptised before she was sent to Sheffield Children's Hospital where she passed away shortly before midnight.
I am doing this to raise awareness for this horrible disease as well as the signs and symptoms of Septicemia which we all wish we had known sooner.
We all owe the BRI and Sheffield Children's Hospital so many thanks for their care and kindness and not to mention the support we have since received from Meningitis Now.
Please help us raise awareness and contribute toward finding a cure for Meningitis by donating - All donations no matter how big or small are appreciated massively.
Forever in our hearts.
