Our Story

In 2017 Myself and my wife were very blessed to fall pregnant with our first little baby! And the excitement was second to none! Just like all new parents we were straight into looking at baby clothes and guessing if we were having a boy or a girl! 24 weeks into a fairly routine pregnancy, my wife attended a repeat scan on her own where she received our first bit of worrying news and we were told we needed to go see a specialist in foetal medicine. This is where our little one was diagnosed with an extremely rare heart condition. Our little boy Nate was delivered at 6 months born sleeping. My brave wife was so strong throughout and with the massive thanks to 4Louis our little boy had clothes to fit and sleep forever in and a beautiful memory box to cherish. Thank you 4Louis.

4Louis is a charity established in December 2009, following the stillbirth of our own son Louis, to provided tailored memory boxes to various hospital units and hospices across the UK and Ireland. These are provided for families who suffer the trauma of miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal/infant loss, and the death of a child up to the age of 16. We also support midwives and nurses with other vital equipment such as moses baskets, cuddle cots, camera equipment, and support with bereavement suites. 4Louis can also take part in your study days as speakers and can even fund study days if required.
