I've always set myself personal challenges through running, and more often than not, it's allowed me to be the best I can be. Upon recent reflections of my achievements, I realise that for many, everyday life is a personal challenge.   

I have a loved one who exemplifies the many requiring much help and support to manage their day to day life. This has inspired me to help improve the daily life of individuals and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

My London Marathon journey will be in full support of Autistica; a leading autism charity whose vision is to provide long, healthy and happy lives for autistic adults and children. Autistica funds groundbreaking research to improve the understanding of autism and the development of new therapies and interventions.

Approximately 1 in 100 people living in the UK are diagnosed with ASD. I am advocating Autistica in the hope the funds I raise through this page will assist their mission to help my loved one and many others with ASD achieve happiness and lead independent lives.

No matter how big or small, every donation from all corners of the world makes a difference.
