On 03 March 2019 I shall be running Cambridge Half Marathon with four of my colleagues at Kennedys Law. We are doing this for Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, our chosen charity partner. Rainbow Trust Children's Charity enables families who have a child with a life threatening illness to make the most of precious time together; providing expert practical and emotional support, where they need it, for as long as it is needed. £26 will provide one hour of care, enough time to entertain a seriously ill child so that their parents can have a break. £182 pays for a days visit from a Family Support Worker which allows parents to do chores, look after other family members, relax or simply sleep. £1,780 is the average cost of support for a family with a seriously ill child for a year.
