Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I celebrate my fiftieth birthday and to mark this occasion I wanted to do something different and challenging to raise money for the Andover Hospice that cared for my fiancé Mark (who would have been fifty in February) before he sadly died in July 2001.

On Sunday 8 July I am taking part in a "Race for Life" event and will be pushing myself for 5k around the Newbury Showground.   I would greatly appreciate your sponsorship, as knowing I have your support will  encourage me to push a little harder and make me more determined to reach the finishing line.

If you have a couple of hours to spare on 8 July, I would be delighted to see you at the Newbury Showground.  The race starts at 11am and it would be wonderful to have a few friends there to cheer me on as I push along the route.
