I would like to say Jazak-Allah and a big thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Food Relief Package appeal for the Mirpur, Azad Kashmir Earthquake.
Praise be to Allah, through your generous support and prayers, we have provided hundreds of people with warm cooked meals and Food Relief Packages which included quilts and hygiene items that will sustain them for at least 1 month.
The recent Earthquake in Azad Kashmir on 24th September 2019 has devastated thousands of families in an area very close to the KORT Educational Complex.
Many homes have been totally demolished and many more are damaged beyond economical repair, unstable and unfit to live in.
Therefore we are now stopping the Food Relief Appeal and we need your help to build 100 plus homes for the *disabled, elderly, orphans and widows* who are at present sleeping in tents, with the winter not too far away.
Each house will consist of:
Two rooms (12x14ft)
Kitchen (6x8ft)
Bathroom (8x4ft)
Veranda (8ft)
1 window and a door in each room
1 electrical socket in each room.
The house will be of solid brick construction, with a concrete roof, and plastered all around.
The total cost per house is: *£3,900*
*Sadaqah, Lillah & Zakat donations are accepted* so please donate generously and help share the word.
Please don't forget to add Gift Aid to your donations which will help with admin costs of this charity. This also ensures all funds raised for this appeal goes towards this cause.
