Story
We will be joining the Wales Coast Cancer Path Challenge in support of Craig Maxwell, who at just 40 years young, was diagnosed with terminal, inoperable, rare form of genetic lung cancer, EGFR+. Craig is father Isla and Zach and partner to Tracey who sadly now have limited together. Being the person Craig is he is determined to help others during this time and raise awareness of this form of cancer and educate people in diagnosis leaving a proud legacy.
Over 26 days Craig will be walking a total 576 miles and cycling 204 miles - a total of 780 miles to raise funds for the Maxwell Family Genomics Fund. The reason for the 780 days - it took Craig 78 days to receive his diagnosis.
We will be joining him on day 24 on Friday 8th March to walk 26.6 miles from Swansea to Porthcawl to support this incredible man and raise as much as we can for the Maxwell Family Genomics Fund.
Please support us in any way you can, big or small! Thank you so much and see you in Porthcawl with a few blister in tow!
