On 23rd April I will be running the Madrid Marathon to raise awareness/money for Veterans with Dogs. This charity is sentimental to me as my Dad has served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and it is important to me that current and former members of the British Armed Forces receive the help and support they need.I have no doubt that me running a marathon won't even come close to some of the things they endure day to day!

VETERANS WITH DOGS was founded with the specific intention of training fully accredited assistance dogs to help mitigate the symptoms of mental health difficulties for our veterans and active-duty service members of the British Armed Forces.We saw the real need to establish a programme of training as there were no other organisations in the UK providing dogs specifically for mental health disabilities. The task was a huge undertaking, but seeing how veterans and their families suffer is heart-breaking and only strengthened our resolve to do 'something' to help.Help us through our 4PAWS campaign, to continue supporting our veterans, partnering them with a wonderful assistance dog. Our veterans can improve their quality of life.
