On 29th April I am taking part in this year’s Charity Walk for Peace (CharityWalkForPeace.org) to raise money for the Freda Lambert Memorial Fund, Learn English at Home's fund for training volunteer tutors.  Every pound raised will be matched by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association (AMEA) who run this national event.

Freda, who sadly passed away in December 2017, served on the LEAH Board for over 30 years, 22 as Chair. Under her leadership, LEAH has become a success story, gaining national recognition for its work to empower refugees and immigrants to learn English, reduce their isolation and integrate into their community.
