Story

First Choice Conference & Events take part in a charity challenge every year and having escaped participating in all the running challenges so far over the years I thought what better than to suggest something at a slower pace. This will however be a gruelling challenge and the rest of the office think we are totally mad but Jas, Dan and I are going to take this on and not let it beat us.

The challenge will see us walk without stopping for 100km along the Cotswold Way; starting in Bath on Saturday June 29th 2019 and finishing in Cheltenham sometime on Sunday 30th. We will be tackling some intimidating hills and walking right through the night for around 30 hours depending on our pace. This will be the toughest physical challenge I'll probably ever tackle (unless I get hooked...) and the training alone will see us kissing goodbye to our weekends for the next 6 months however, we are excited and motivated and can't wait to get cracking!

I am raising money for Sue Ryder's Leckhampton Court Hospice because they have looked after at least one my family members and I think the hospice and the nurses working there are incredibly wonderful. The care that they provide is second to none and it is such a beautiful and special place for people during the hardest times of their lives.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Even if you can only spare £1 it will all help to assist me to my target. Many thanks in advance.
