Team: Team John Bray

In memory of Owen Dray
Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

This year John Bray Estate Agents are celebrating 150 years in business, and we wanted to raise lots of money for The Chestnut Tree House Hospice. This is a wonderful charity that does amazing work and is also a cause particularly close to my heart.

So I thought I would go booze-free for 150 days. This seemed like a brilliant idea on New Year's Eve (which is when I last had a drink) until I realised 150 days is almost 5 months!!! For those of you who know me well, I am quite partial to the odd pint of Guinness or ale (or two) so this will not be an easy challenge for me. I've also got a few celebrations coming up within that time which I would normally have a drink at!

I started on the 1st of January, and 150 days will take me to 30th May. I might treat myself to a drink on my birthday on the 1st of June ;-)

Wish me luck and any donations you can make to this amazing charity will be gratefully received!

Thanks

Kate
