Story

As most of you will know, I suffer with frequent migraines and more recently seizures again, so visits to Walton have been frequent over the past few decades. The Walton Centre Charity seemed an obvious choice to raise money for.

I entered London Marathon without really thinking I would get in...then the dreaded magazine arrived through the door "Congratulations, You're in"! Marathon training started straight away....Its been hard work, especially with a headache every other day, and I know over the next few months its going to get even harder. If you can, please support me to support this great charity.

The Walton Centre in Liverpool offers a world class neuroscience service which includes many pioneering techniques, cutting edge treatments; and clinicians who are international leaders in their field. Over 100,000 patients are treated at the hospital each year with conditions ranging from head and spinal trauma injuries; brain and spine tumours; Epilipsy, MS, Motor Neurone Disease and Parkinson. The Charity funds a variety of projects in the hospital including research, innovation, new technology and patient & family facilities.
