So let me give you a little update on what I am trying to achieve.. 

So lets start with the WHAT...

25th March - I am entering a charity boxing match which will involve training twice a week for 8 weeks before the event

27th May - My friends and I will be walking 25km of the Jurassic Coast 

8th July - I will be walking 100km across the peak district. 

Yes I'm bonkers! 

Next step is WHY...

2022 was probably the most difficult year for me, unfortunately I lost 2 people I love to cancer. 

Firstly, I lost my aunty J in July, and for anyone who knows me, will know how special she was. Aunty J was the matriarch of the family, she would be our 2nd mum and best friend rolled into one.. as well as our biggest critic and diva! (ha) But jokes aside, I think of her everyday and miss her so much. Aunty J was one of the strongest people I know, and I am so proud to have great memories and to have her as a role model. 

Secondly, a few months after we lost one of our best friends TN, the head of our posse. TN was the pen holder from the start, and always clarified any situation my crazy friends had got us in.. or the situation TN got us in! (ha) TN was a big support to us all as she always knew the answers, and also had the best parties! The posse has a big hole but we will do her proud! 

So when I think about the fight I have in the boxing ring, or up that mountain, it really doesn't compare to the fight my aunty/friend had in the last 2/3 years just to be with their family. So lets raise some money and try to stop anyone else having to go through this horrible battle.
