Story
So I ran the Stratford half marathon in 2:34 with an aim of 2:22 which is a shame but considering it was 18 degrees I think I did well! Then I entered the rugby half and on my first training session out I made it to the bottom of my street before stacking it and smashing my ankle and MK watch! Incredibly hilarious to watch as I genuinely thought I’d broken my ankle. But in true Footballer fashion, after rolling around the pavement for a few minutes I got up and (kind of) walked it off! So I had to swerve that one as my ankle only started getting better about 3 weeks before the rugby race. But was I deterred....NO! I’m going for my own home town half marathon now! The big COV!! Pretty sure I’ll laugh my way through it passing old places I used to knock about! Anyway....any donations to Zoe’s Hospice greatly received. I don’t need to tell you how amazing they are. Just don’t be tight (like my calf’s will be after the race!) and donate!
BONUS - if I don’t complete this race in 2:22 then I will donate half of whatever I raise myself!!!
MWAH! xx
