This year TLT is supporting Alive! - a charity that provides interactive activity sessions for people in residential care, including the very old, people living with dementia or Alzheimer's, physical disabilities, degenerative illnesses, learning difficulties or psychological disorders.  Alive! offers care home residents something different - a change of energy and a breath of fresh air.  As part of our support to this charity, we raised funds by entering a team in the Bristol Half Marathon in 2010 and held many fund raising events.  Now we have entered the Bath Half Marathon which is in 1 week on 6 March 2011 and continuing to support for Alive! until we reach our ambitious target of £3,000!! Money raised will help to fund this new charity to reach more people and provide them with much needed stimulation and fun.  With an increasingly ageing population and limited resources, many care homes are simply unable to offer anything of this nature themselves and are reliant on Alive! to offer residents some sort of break from their normal routine.
