14 years ago our lives were forever changed when we found out my sister and best friend had breast cancer.  Heartbreakingly Lisse lost her battle in July 2022 💔

Lisse trained hard for her own marathon place a few years ago but sadly her health didn’t allow her to take part so I’ve decided to taken the baton and do this for her 🌻.

I hate running, I’m pretty useless at it but that’s why I’m doing this.  Lisse would of loved to, so, instead, I’ll do it for her, knowing she will be there in my heart, every step of the way 🌻

Breast Cancer Now  have an action plan that by 2050 everyone with Breast Cancer WILL live.  That plan is enough for me to spend the rest of my life finding ways to support them and raise much needed funds.  

Next year I will hopefully be having a much fought for double mastectomy.  This  marathon journey is my way of saying;

“Start where you are.  Use what you have. Do what you can”
