We sadly lost our brilliant Grandad last year after a stroke, which meant we saw first-hand the devastating effects that it took on him. Therefore I hope to raise even just a small amount by running the Robin Hood Half Marathon (26/09/2021) to contribute to helping current and future stroke survivors to have the best life they can <3

I'm running the Robin Hood Half Marathon for #TeamStroke!There are over 1.2 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.Stroke Association believes everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Your support will help them to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
