I've unfortunately seen quite a few children and their families face this awful disease. Battling childhood cancer requires unimaginable strength from everyone that it touches. I feel very fortunate to live in a place where information, treatment, and resources are advanced and accessible. However, so many families around the world do not have that support. World Child Cancer does beautiful work in making sure that families in low-income countries have access to the support and resources they need to fight this disease, as well as providing information that reaches and helps families worldwide.
