As a unit we are currently raising funds to build a garden for our patients and their families. 

Some of our patients are so critically unwell that they can spend months on the ITU and have not seen outside, breathed fresh air or felt the sun on their skin and by making a garden on the hospital grounds that is both private and accessible will make a huge difference to these people. 

It will enable us to take patients outside in a quiet environment and allow them to enjoy beautiful surroundings and improve their recovery. 

To raise funds for it we will be participating in some Dragon boat racing on the 25th May at Conningbrook lakes, Ashford.
