Yorkshire Three Peaks · 18 September 2021

St Luke’s is an independent charity caring for terminally ill adults and their loved ones across Sheffield. Each year, we care for around 1,900 patients most of whom are cared for in their own home by our Specialist Palliative Care Community team.

Story

10 members of staff at Wake Smith Solicitors (Kate Lax, Scott Haslam, Joan Pettingill, Dan Haigh, Paul Gibbon, Neil Salter, Duncan Shepherd, Holly Navarro, Dylan Friend and Jessica Rowbotham) will  attempt to conquer the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge whilst raising much needed funds for St Luke’s Hospice.

This 26 mile challenge will take place on Saturday 18th September 2021 and will take them through the stunning Yorkshire scenery of the Dales National Park, starting with smallest of the peaks, Pen-y-ghent.

Completed over the course of 12 hours, they will also tackle the peaks of Ingleborough and Whernside as making their way across the Pennine range.

In total, they will climb an awesome 1585 metres!

A challenge not for the faint-hearted!
