In memory of Archie Mortimer

The Friends of the Baby Unit was established 49 years ago (1976) to raise money for equipment for use in the intensive care of preterm and sick newborn babies being cared for on the Neonatal unit at The Royal Derby Hospital. The money raised over that time is now over £2 million pounds. Thank you

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 31st October 2012 my cousin Clare and husband Lee were over the moon to welcome their twin boys, Archie and Zack into the world. Devastatingly Archie's heart wasn't strong enough and he lost his battle to keep going just less than 48hrs later on the 2nd November 2012.

I want to do my bit to honour his memory by raising funds for the Derby NICU and the amazing nurses who cared for him and continued to care for his brother Zack for several weeks.

If you have a penny or a pound it can all make a difference to help saving other babies lives, so please dig deep and donate now.
