Thanks for all your support, completed the marathon in a leisurely 6hrs 46 so not long before the roads reopened, but did make it round safe and sound with no injuries. Thanks to everyone who turned out on the day it meant a lot to me and the countless other competitors who took part

One week to go now, runner numbers have come out for those wishing to track my tortoise like progress round the route I'm number 6575
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I shall be "running" the Brighton Marathon in aid of Brighton and Hove city mission's basic bank
http://www.brightonandhovecitymission.org.uk/2.html
for those who want a bit of a summary about what the charity does I have cut and paste some information from their website
The Basics Bank is the social outreach ministry of the City Mission, providing food, bedding, toiletries, cutlery and crockery to those who are “in crisis”. A city-wide network of around 40 statutory, voluntary and charitable agencies work in partnership with the City Mission and refer clients for assistance. This referral system ensures that we help those with genuine needs.
I can't promise a fantastic time for the marathon or that I'll run all the way or anything crazy like that, I would however be incredibly grateful for any support you can give and I'm sure the charity and their clients will be too.
