St Mungos is challenging you to jump, run, swim, or immerse yourself in open water this winter. Get down to your local staffed open-water swimming area, beach, or lido, put on a brave face and make a splash to raise some cash.

Story

So... this weird 2020 Christmas/New Year I have braved the cold and wild swum every day for 12 days raising money for St Mungo's 'Make a splash' campaign. 

St Mungo's offer support and beds to around 3,150 homeless people each night in the Uk In these bitter times they need more help than ever. 

12 days done  - here are  the 50 wonderful  people who have helped me in my 12 Days of Christmas challenge - Thank you all 

On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me - An artist making a splash 

On the 2nd day .....Two mad MccGwire's  (Tom & Kate MccGwire 

3rd Day .... 3 hearty Hens  ( Tom & Kate MccGwire & Penny Melville) 

4th Day...  4 frozen Footies - (Ella Chloe Foote & Kate MccGwire )

5 GOLD RINGS.. from Whitby  ( Effie Burns, Jen Harnden, Jen C, Liz H & Judith

6th Day .... 6 Solo swimmers: Polly Morgan, Lizzie Croxford, Debbie George, Vivienne Rickman, Claire Melissa Midwood & Charlotte Colbert

7th Day - 7 stunning sunrises from film maker Claire Whittenbury 

8th Day - 8 New Year's Nutters - Chloe Tuesday Knight, Stompy Cole, Claire Whitenbury, Peter Barnes, Emily Steer, Rebecca Wobblywick & Jonathan,  Effie Burns & Me!

9th Day - 8 flashing Spartans from Deal  and me swanning about on the Thames 

10th day - 10 tingling toes - Just me swimming in the Thames 

11th Day - 11 smiling peeps from SOS Surrey Outdoor swimming  Group : Kate Wallace, Diane , Kirsty Armstrong , Sally Frisbee, Ellen McRae, Debbie Levy,  Sue Wilson, Juliet Turnbull, Ju McKanna, Sian,  Charlie Bardsley & Me
