As many of you know, my beautiful Mum has been fighting cancer since 2015 

My Mum never, ever let this stop her doing what she believed she was here to do   And that was helping others!  

After 45 years working as a children’s nurse she retired and founded a domestic abuse charity here in Liverpool called crossing point. She would work so hard helping to deliver courses and school assemblies ect all to teach  people  their true  worth and prevent them from falling into abusive relationships or helping victims to escape them and live a happy life  

Even throughout her chemo when she was so, so poorly she would attend and help however she could  nothing was going to stop her 

My Mum was a lady who you could truly trust  it didn’t matter who you were she would help if she could  

Sadly my beautiful Mum lost her fight on Tuesday 14th May  

We promised her that all her hard work would never ever be wasted   And I would love to help raise a little for the ladies who work so hard  

I have debated whether to run this year as I k ow I will feel emotional  especially as my mum used to support my races if she could   But myself, Stephen, Mark are going to run the half marathon and Little Isabelle (Irene’s granddaughter is going to run the mile in loving memory of our special Mum/ Nanny  xxx
