On July the 9th this year I am doing a sponsored skydive for TOG. I hope to raise in excess of £500 to enable them to carry on with the fantastic work they do. I need your help in order to achieve this.

My daughter Isla is three years old, she started TOG in February 2010. Isla has been delayed throughout all the developmental milestones and a severe delay around communication. When Isla started she was very under confident and quiet. It took a term of my being there with her to slowly settle her in. In the past twelve months I have watched her grow in so many ways. I can't thank the staff enough for the support they have given us from helping me with forty page forms for financial help, to all the wonderful work they have done with Isla. She has come on so far this past year, from not wanting to be left there she now loves going and looks forward to attending. Isla now makes a whole range of vocalisations and animal noises, she does some signing, gestures brilliantly and has a vocabulary of about 50 words. Isla's key worker made her communication aids in the form of photos. So she is able to indicate what she wants and is becoming more and more confident as a result. Isla is leaving this year as she starts school in September; again the staff are giving incredible support with the transition.
