Story
Jamie was born with severe EB and had deep wounds to his feet, knees and hands. His skin is extremely fragile causing him to have 10’s- 100’s of blisters every day. A small fall will result in multiple traumatic wounds for Jamie. EB effects most things in daily life and causes extreme pain for him. Despite this Jamie is an incredibly brave, funny, loving, happy little boy who has a zest for life ❤️
He took his first independent steps only 5 months ago and is determined through physiotherapy to get stronger. We have challenged him to walk 26 laps around the garden (this will have to be completed over the next week starting today 26/4/20).
He will do this in aid of DEBRA, the national charity supporting those directly affected by, and working with, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a potentially fatal skin condition that causes constant pain due to unstoppable internal and external blistering. DEBRA provides lifelong care and support to the entire EB community.Together we #FightEB and together we will beat EB.
