Flora London Marathon 2007 · 22 April 2007 ·

Across the UK bright children and young adults are not meeting their full potential as they struggle to read and spell. Through special clinics, we investigate the causes of a range of learning difficulties including dyslexia and develop effective treatments to help alleviate reading problems.

Story

Hi there!

Thank you so much for sponsoring me to run the 2007 London marathon. I completed the race in 4hrs38mins. I ran the whole way, the picture here on the left, was taken at 15 miles.

I'm so glad i took part in the race and i will never forget Sunday 22nd April 2007. It was a truly wonderful experience.

So far I've managed to raise over £9,000 for my Dad's very worthwhile charity, the Dyslexia Research Trust. I have achieved this through organising a number of fundraising events and spreading the word about the charity in every way possible.

The website will stay open until 22nd June so there is still time to donate if you want to!

I couldn't have done this without the support of my friends and family. So THANK YOU!
