At Princess Alice Hospice, we provide exceptional end of life care in our hospice and in the community. We know we can’t prevent death, but we do whatever we possibly can to make it the best it possibly can be. But, above all, we believe that hospice care is for living.

Story

20 brave HR team members will embark on Europe’s biggest inflatable obstacle 5K charity run – 26th September in Windsor Royal Racecourse!

Gung Ho in Chinese means Working Together and our team is raising money for the most amazing local charity – Princess Alice Hospice in Esher (Surrey).

In memory of Jonathan Pione (Gartner RVP ESMB) and other close family members of the HR team that have spent their final days there in comfort.

As we are all aware in Gartner, NCVI is a team sport, so is charity fund-raising, please spare whatever amount of money you can for this great cause.

For those who are not aware, Princess Alice Hospice is dedicated to terminally ill people who are provided with safe, comfortable and loving environment in their last days and can pass away in peace with dignity.

This is a truly very special place close to our hearts as some of us experienced first-hand the unique unconditionally kind care and comfort the staff provide to dying people and their loved ones.

Surprisingly, most of the staff are volunteers and yearly they need to raise 77% of the £9 million that is required to provide all their care and support free of charge.

From every £1 donated, 84p is spent on delivering care and support, 11p is spent on fundraising, 5p on management.
