Chris was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer on June 30th 2021. In April 2021 he had a persistent stomach ache which we learned was terminal cancer over the course of a few weeks and a few 999 calls.

In the last weeks of his life Chris really struggled.  Those who know him know he wanted a quick and easy death. He couldn't avoid it, so he hoped for the death we all want... a quick one. Unfortunately,  that didn't happen for Chris.  The end was tough, but made so much easier by the Northamptonshire Marie Curie team who came at all hours, multiple times a day to give him the medication he needed to help him be as.comfortable as he could be. 

These nurses were truly amazing and helped us all keep Chris in a comfortable place when he needed it most. We would like to help other families have this comfort.
