A member of the Patterdale Mountain Rescue fell 500 ft after seeking to rescue two tourists from Red Screes. When I heard this I couldn't stop thinking about the rescuer who is now in ICU with a fractured spine.

To raise money, I will be running the Windermere Marathon and I've set up this Just Giving Page for the rescuer who has had their life changed probably forever and for Patterdale Mountain Rescue.
