Story
I'm walking 300,000 steps throughout July to help support the life-changing care provided by King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
This challenge isn't just about raising money; it's also about preparing myself for an even bigger challenge. On 12th September, I'll be joining family and friends to take on the 50km Gower Peninsula West Loop. Together, we'll be fundraising for the hospital that saved our son Riley's life.
Without the incredible team at King's, Riley would not be here today. The Liver Unit gave him a second chance, and we will never be able to thank them enough. Now it's our turn to give something back.
Watching Riley fight through one of the toughest experiences of his life showed us what true strength, determination and resilience look like. His courage inspires us every day, and it's that same determination that will carry us through these challenges.
Every step I take in July is helping me build my fitness for September's 50km walk, while also raising vital funds for this fantastic hospital. We also hope to raise awareness of the dangers of paracetamol overdose, something that has changed our family's lives forever.
I'd be incredibly grateful if you could sponsor me. Together, we can help King's College Hospital continue to go above and beyond what the NHS can provide, from pioneering research and innovative treatments to specialist equipment, patient care and family support.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference.
Thank you for supporting me, supporting Riley, and supporting the hospital that gave our family hope.
