We are a group all based in various parts of the UK who love community activities, spending fun and quality time with others and giving back what we can! We love the idea of all completing this half marathon challenge together with the aim to raise as much money as we can to a family-based charity close to our hearts. 

This is a charity set up in 1992 in Uganda by Dr Anne Merriman which provides palliative care to patients and palliative care training to providers across the continent of Africa. For almost 30 years Hospice Africa has been providing palliative care and affordable morphine to HIV/AIDS and cancer patients which has massively improved their quality of life and allowed these patients to live free of pain and at peace. We know that times are hard for many globally with war, climate change and the cost of living crisis but we have also seen firsthand the impact of this amazing charity and know that anything at all that you can spare will make a huge difference in the lives of patients in need. 

Our group ranges from some expert runners to some who are trying running for the very first time! We hope you can support us in whatever way you can.
