Story

Hello!

Thanks very much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are walking the Mighty Stride (21 miles) in Edinburgh in memory of wonderful Kate/Mum to raise money for research into ovarian cancer, the cruel disease that took her from us too soon. We told Kate of our plan to do this before she died and she said it was a 'lovely idea'.

Here's a quote that had me and Kate in tears back in April:

"Beyond our skills and strength, expertise and experience, we must accept the world as it is, including change however tragic. All we can do is mind how we go on the earth and look after each other and, if we cannot turn sadness into joy, or death back into life, friendship and remembering will have to do." - Cairngorm John

Kate replied: "Aren't we lucky to have love in our lives."

Love and thanks,

Rach & Pete
