Campaign by Crisis (RCN 1082947)
Face the freeze and take an icy plunge to end homelessness

Story

Dear all,
It was a beautiful crisp
morning for our team's Shiver in the River challenge yesterday to raise
money for Crisis. So many thanks to all you kind people who have
sponsored me. I really appreciate it. 😍💜
A few pics of the beautiful  setting are attached, and me enjoying a cup of hot buttered rum afterwards!
May 2021 bring you all a brighter better new year

We should all have a place to call home. Across the UK, thousands of people will be without a home this winter. I am facing the freeze for Crisis. Please donate to my page while I take on this icy challenge to help end homelessness!

Every year my choir, Jericho Singers, does a concert in the University Church in Oxford with Crisis to raise money for homeless people. The support and regeneration we see there for people whose lives have fallen apart and those who help them rebuild a life is humbling.

This year covid has cancelled the concert, so: Having relished swimming in the river since the beginning of lockdown, I will abandon the shorty wetsuit on Christmas Day, and SWIM IN A SWIMSUIT to raise money for people who are unable to go back to a warm home and  hot shower after freezing over this winter. Please give generously.
