Kate's London Marathon 2023

Cancer touches most families and here on the Isle of Wight, patients often find themselves having to travel to the mainland for appointments.
There are often times when people need support quickly and locally and Wessex Cancer Trust is always there to help.
Most people don't realise this, but the charity has four support centres across the region - one of which is in Lugley Street, in Newport, right here on the Isle of Wight. Around 1,000 people used the Newport centre last year.
In recent times, the charity has found itself in need of more funds than ever before to keep vital services going - such as the Daisy Bus, which provides transport for hospital appointments. Around 20,000 Islanders use the Daisy Bus service.
Your donation could make a real difference, as every penny adds up.
£400 could fund a ten-session one-to-one support package, tailored to the individual, to help manage the emotional impact of cancer.
£2,400 is the average cost to keep one of the charity's support centres open for a week.
This is why I want to raise money for the Wessex Cancer Trust and all the money I raise will remain on the Isle of Wight, to be used for local residents.
