In 2017 my mum was taken suddenly ill and brought to the RUH Bath and cared for in the Critical Care Unit. Devastatingly she didn't make it but the care and support of all the staff was incredible during the 24 hours that she was there. They also looked after my dad and I, giving us a room to sleep in overnight so we could be near to her. 

I completed the Greater Manchester Marathon in 2018 in her memory and raised £800 for the worthy cause that is The Forever Friends Appeal. Their fundraising has seen amazing changes over the years around the hospital and I've chosen to keep helping them raise even more vital funds. 

This year sees me taking on my biggest challenge, Race to the Stones. Covering a distance of 100km in one go with a team of Mighty Titans. I am also taking on The Bath Half, the 12 Hour Unicorn Frolic, Endure 24 and the Spartan Trifecta over one weekend.
