Story
Since Mark was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago we as a family have been receiving support from St Luke’s Hospice. We were hoping that Mark would be able to take part in the walk, he was determined to be able to do at least part of it. Unfortunately that wasn’t to be as he is currently living at the hospice receiving end of life care from the amazing people that work there. Knowing that he is in a place surrounded by such wonderful people taking care of him has given us so much comfort in these darkest of days. Completing this 10k walk will be so difficult knowing he won’t be able to join us but we will do it with all of the strength and determination that he has shown throughout the past 2 years. He is our hero. We would be so grateful for any donations so the Hospice can continue their wonderful work.
