Oct 2020, I was almost 45 and started running. Up to today, I have run 1,446km. On 17th Oct 2021 I did my first half marathon at the age of 46. Just within 12 months, I will be running my 3rd half marathon on 16th Oct in Cornwall. This will be my 2nd charity run and I chose UK Chinese Women Connect, because it helps Chinese women in the UK to connect within the community and merge into the wider society. I have been volunteering in this amazing community for 2 years and witnessed all the hard work by selfless volunteers to help, connect and support Chinese women. The fund I am raising this time will be dedicating to the workshops for full-time Chinese mums in the UK to get back to career. 

I love Cornwall! It's like a dream to go to Cornwall to run half marathon. The route is very hilly and challenging and my knees have been hurting, but I am going to DO it! 

PS One tree will be planted for each runner, only with Eden Project Half Marathon/Marathon.
