Ronald McDonalds House Charities Sky Dive weekend · 19 June 2021
Our daughter Phoenix was born at 25 weeks back in 2018 and subsequently spent 13months at St George’s hospital London. From day 1 Ronald McDonald open their arms and supported us with a home from home environment. A place where we could cook, shower and be a normal family safe in the knowledge we are still in the hospital grounds should we need to go back to intensive care. Even when our daughter had an emergency transfer over to the Evelina children’s hospital for ECMO and I only had the clothes I stood in; Ronald McDonald house was there. A warm cosy room, a hot shower, food donations from charities and friendly faces who cared. I could not imagine how we would have coped when the average price of a London hotel is £100+ a night on top of having a child who may not make it through the night.
So please give whatever you can to help others going through a families worst nightmare. All the money raised is going straight to Ronald McDonald House charity, every penny counts.
